I highly recommend Gerard. I wanted a set of shelves and cupboards that maximised storage space without dominating a small room. His design was spot-on, with lots of addition detailing such as the beading around the shelves and the inclusion of a deeper middle section with glass-fronted door. The craftsmanship is also if the highest order, and he was a pleasure to work with.

Gerard built 2 sets of alcove units, one with an added desk area, and made cupboards for our boiler and fuse box.

We are incredibly pleased with the work that Gerard undertook, it has totally transformed the space. One think that stood Gerard apart from other quotes we had was his attention to detail and desire to get things absolutely right, he really thought about the design, and has added little touches that really add a level of quality to the finish that we hadn't expected when we set out on this project.

Gerard is one of those gems you just pray you are going to find when you're asking carpenters to pop round to quote. He is conscientious, polite, has immense integrity and his craftmanship is second to none. Gerard took on a huge project for us, we wanted a bespoke storage and media solution for a recent extension, Gerard's consultative approach allowed us to explain exactly what we wanted, which, as if by magic, he turned in to a unit within a very short space of time. It was a pleasure having him in our home, we've already booked in our next job with him.

Gerard took on two projects - a room-defining, floor-to-ceiling bookcase either side of a living room doorway, and some shelving above and below a worktop in the kitchen. Delighted with both. Gerard built alcove / media units and a desk area for us. We had a specific idea of what we wanted and Gerard took our idea and made it even better! Everything was completely bespoke down to the finest details such as the chamfer edge, beading on bookshelf surrounds, depth of the drawers etc and finished to the highest quality.
